After about a 20 yr hiatus I find myself looking at getting my banjo-ing back on. My old 5 string disaster will need to be replaced because new it sounded like teh shite. Maybe if the wife gets an upright bass I'll get a cheap tenor and a nicer intermediate 5 string. (and an alto sax...and a red fire engine...)

Their album Wheatstraw Suite is a brilliant record, with some nice banjo picking here and there. I would reccommend listening to the last track: "She Sang Hymns out of Tune" first.

Ballard:
The Mediafire think is an automatic, forum-wide filter. It prevents anyone from outside the forums from finding the Mediafire thread too easily, subsequently getting Jeph into trouble.
