Border Reiver:
Well at least now he can vget that heartfelt sound now for his next country song.  And as soon as he looses the dog and the truck, he'll have completed the country trifecta.

kurzon:
Heh - Sven's trying to process new concepts.

I _didn't_ like her that much.

But I _feel bad_.

Wait, that's a C on her chest...the Blue Cockroach? Ew.
On the other hand, 'tis true I see no panty-lines. She's commando. And has loooonnnnggg gams.

On Angus, I think maybe his last romance chilled him on being tossed around and such. That's why I said he had an epiphany.

Chicklette, actually, ahd her loyal sidekick Mothman.   Made 'em as a joke.  She was a nail technician in a salon when aliens attacked her homeworld.  A stray energy bolt hit her station and combined with all the chemicals, coating her and making her invulnerable.

She's about the silliest.  I reserved pictures of the truly drool inducing ones on my account.

SVEN!  YOU NEED TO THINK MORE ON THIS AND GROW UP!

Although, technically he's right, it isn't fair, he didn't agree to monogamy. The world is kinda like that.  Nevertheless, he did something, planned or not, that hurt someone else, and he owes an apology.  It would be a big step up in the world and in general personal growth to own up that his own actions caused shit to happen.  And Dora should really stop bashing him around, but that's a whole 'nuther discussion.

Lydia, on the other hand, has redeemed herself-- just a bit -- in my eyes while still managing to be somewhat patronizing.  However, I now expect that behavior from her.

lily-kiernan:
I don't know guys, I think that maybe we're processing this from the point of view of our protagonist, Faye. From his point of view, FROM WHAT HE COULD SEE, he was hooking up with one chick, like he had so many times previously, this outwardly strong girl who was willing to give him shit, who was his intellectual superior. Who would obviously be able to handle anything, right? So, he sleeps with another girl, and feels terrible about it, because he really did like Faye. If he didn't, he wouldn't have had any problem with it: she was just a hookup, after all. So he fesses up to it, and instead of being defensive at her aloofness, he feels worse. HE HAS SOUL.

I really sympathize with him. I've never been in this situation, or anything remotely like it, but I think I can understand why he's feeling as bad as he is: he really likes Faye. And Faye doesn't know it.

On another note: the minute I'm willing to give up my severe insect phobia, the rolly-poly bug will be the first on the "cute" list.

So what part of the country is that from?  I grew up calling them pill bugs.  Also, was going to post a giant isopod picture, but Faye beat me to it
