Siibillam-Law:
This week was National Library Week? And no one reminded me?
I'm appalled.
Do they even have one in England?
raoullefere:
I don't think so. But the 23rd is St. George's Day.
Here's a calender http://www.crayola.com/calendar/index.cfm?month=4&year=2009
And a sillier one http://www.epromos.com/calendar/promotional-calendar.html
My favorite 'month' is in May: High Blood Pressure Education Month (hoorah!). I know it's not what they mean, but it reads to me as though you're supposed to learn how to elevate your BP.
Some of us could probably teach lessons about that.
Siibillam-Law:
I like how in October these two things happen:
Down Syndrome Month October
Positive Attitude Month October
Yes they're unrelated but it's funny to read one after the other

Maybe Hanners could get more OCD about her hair. Although it looks really cute unkempt.

--- Quote from: Border Reiver on 17 Apr 2009, 05:37 ---I'm still trying to figure out how you actually make a decent living (as most of the cast seems to) doing minimum wage jobs.

You don't. You can make a decent survival, but that's about it. There's nothing really spectacular about how they live their lives, really, except for Sven. Dora works her ass off with the coffee shop and manages to survive. The others don't really do much except buy thrift store clothes, play some music, and drink.
Sounds like most of my minimum wage friends, ;)
