I'm still trying to figure out how you actually make a decent living (as most of the cast seems to) doing minimum wage jobs.

I laughed a lot more than I should have.

So, Angus is a master debater? ;)
Hammy:
"And I really don't like the Faye/Angus thing. He just seems too flat of a character for him to have any relationships with the main cast."
(Sorry; I'm old and technologically impaired. I haven't figured out how to properly quote yet!)
I don't really have any preferences for what happens in the comic (except that I am still obsessed dying to see sick with anxiety and desire looking forward to seeing how this Sven/Faye/Dora fight ends up). I mostly just enjoy taking in whatever Mr. Jacques gives us. I'm not saying that I also think Angus is "flat," but if he is, it could just be because he hasn't been in the comic enough yet to develop much depth. So don't worry! You may find this all more enjoyable than you're currently anticipating! This last comic makes him a lot more interesting to me than he was before. If they have some sort of webcomic award for "most hilariously adorable job ever," I hope they give it to Jeph for his Angus work!
This is a potentially fun angle, regardless of the outcome! Either they become wonderful, aruging friends, wonderful, arguing enemies, or wonderful arguing lovers. I see no flaws in this!
I've been reading QC for... gosh... many years now... And it just keeps improving in terms of plot, art, and dialogue all the time. =)
