I do love a new purchase

Wasteroo:
I guess it's just a random taste anomaly of mine, because I love Tangerine Dream and Boards of Canada. Honestly, Solar Bears (except for Dolls) just doesn't sound very BoC-ey to me at all. at most I would say that they kind of sound like BoC without all the dark ambiance and intensity and shatter-your-mind drops

I'm so jealous. Is it the scratch and sniff? haha.

Also, while they're still being discussed, is there any Boards of Canada vinyl at all?

KvP:
Plenty, though it might be a bit hard to track down and their LPs are likely to be a bit pricey. The earlier the better. I have a remix 12" and the Skam EP (aka Hi Scores) on vinyl.

Catacombs:
Picked up Pavements Crooked Rain Crooked Rain and the Black Keys the Big Come Up yesterday at PREX in Princeton NJ.  Holy SHIT is that Keys album good.

valley_parade:
Record store closing sale/show. Sigh.

House Boat - The Delaware Octopus (the sticker says "green marble", but green is being friendly. Think more vomit colored)
Flatfoot 56 - Black Thorn (gold vinyl with black splatter)
Birds Are Alive - Plucked and Fucked Up (grey)
Stupid Babies Go Mad - Rock & Roll Genocide EP
and whatever the first Ashers EP was titled..
