I'm still a little disappointed by it, but the cover of "Rain" with Wata singing is awesome.

--- Quote from: Vuk on 07 Dec 2010, 12:52 ---Anyone any experience with shipping overseas with Economy Air Mail? I'm really considering getting this LP of Throbbing Gristle's Heathen Earth, but it ships from Japan. I think it's worth it, though - second press and pretty good condition, and it's around 60 dollars with shipping. It's just that that's the best shipping option they have, and I'm not convinced it's safe.

I have once or twice, generally prefer EMS but sometimes people won't offer it.  I've never had any packages lost or damaged, so in my experience it's been fine.

Thanks! I'm still kind of sketched out haha. Though, it would be sick to have Heathen Earth on vinyl.

Christmas time!

Got both of these (Cobalt's Gin and Man's Gin's Smiling Dogs) for Christmas. I'm a happy camper, these are both great albums.

Shipped out yesterday from Pirates Press (since I couldn't afford the entire "Essentials" box set):

Cock Sparrer - Shock Troops (claret & blue vinyl) and Running Riot in '84 (black vinyl).

Yesssssssssss. I'm polishing up my Docs in excitement.

apparently, my grandmother and aunt both went to my local independent record store, and even though the owner doesn't actually do vouchers, he knows me and was cool enough to sign a coupla xmas cards to be used as vouchers.  so thanks, collectively, to my awesome family and awesome local record store dude i was able to acquire the following today:

"Petitioning the Empty Sky" by Converge
"When Forever Comes Crashing" by Converge
"Danger Days..." by My Chemical Romance
"Punkgasm" by Don Caballero
"The Red Sea" by Isis

Today's been a very good day!
