How's that a guest appearance? Trane was a regular member of Monk's quartet at the time!
And he hadn't - or just barely - started to record as a leader.

Same with his appearances on Miles' records mentioned above.

Rodleen Getsic on the Deftone's "Knife Party" was a helluva strange combination; what she did was SOOOOO bizarre and interesting.  Last Deftones album I liked.
