As much as I hate to be a nitpicking asshole, I'm a Beatles fanatic, so nitpick I will. Clapton played on "While My Guitar Gently Weeps." Same album though...and apparently, lost in the vaults of Apple, there is a version of "Happiness..." with Jim Morrison singing the "Bang Bang Shoot Shoot" part...but we don't talk about that.
Anyway, one of my favorites is David Bowie's "Fame", with John Lennon doing the steadily descending "Fame" part.

Along those lines, my personal favorite is George Harrison on BADGE by Cream.
Comes outta nowhere and when I realized who it was I freaked out.
