I Need Glowstick Music

<< < (4/11) > >>

rynne:
To be honest, I'm not sure you want "glowstick music."   Granted, I haven't been to a rave in quite a while, but in my experience the only people who used glowsticks were candy ravers who listend to crap like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfSMOW3095k

Dimmukane:
Digitalism and Simian Mobile Disco are a lot closer to what I'm looking for.  I think it is the overcompressed synths.  Thanks, Emilio!

In the meantime I am hoping those Fabric albums are still up.

Klaxxons, CSS, Les Georges Lenigrad, Haudoken are all "New Rave"-y so I don't know if that's what you're after, but when I've seen them play there were a lot of glowsticks and dancing. I also like dancing to MIA but again that might be totally wrong.

I agree with Fabric comps. LCD sound system and pretty much all of  the reccomendations. Maybe try and find anything remixed by Paul 'phones' he takes a lot of indie guitar stuff and makes it dancey. Nice for bridging the gap on mixtapes to.

(I may add, I love dancing and do so whether drunk or not.)

Scandanavian War Machine:
nobody should ever have to listen to CSS.

that's just cruel.
