Mr. Doctor:

--- Quote from: Bastardous Bassist on 19 Aug 2009, 11:58 ---Since I saw some Cannibal Corpse cover art, I will let everyone know that one of my friends, who is doing some psychology work at a maximum security prison, saw a scene that is as close as anyone will ever get to "Eaten Back To Life."  One of the prisoners had ripped open some sutures that were made when he had 37 spoons removed from his stomach (yes) and was chewing on his intestines.  If I didn't know this guy, I'd have said it was all a lie, so feel free to call me a liar.  I wouldn't believe it either.

Wow, The worst thing with those kind of artworks is that sometimes they are inspired by real stuff.
Sick info, I believe I'm very good dealing with lots of gore, but if I was that friend of yours... That scene will haunt me for years.

Bastardous Bassist:
I think he's doing pretty okay with it, but he's not doing his next year of school there (he's getting a Psy D, and this is part of the practical part).  They never figured out why he did it, and it was about the third time he'd ripped open the sutures.  He's going to work with kids next year, which will hopefully be better.

I posted that one two pages ago, and I say it again... That's one of the most beautiful artwork I've seen and I'm proud of having that baby in my collecion. Easily the best metal cd(s) from 2008.
That baby is going to my list of 5 essential albums, I'm still working on the it though jejeje  :-D
