Whisper girls.

What I mean is, these girls who sing in whispery, soprano voices with these gentle, happy feel-good songs. Generally, they take good songs, and take the energy right out of them. This pisses me off.

And Grandaddy's cover of "Revolution" came on shuffle on iTunes today.  It's really not that good.

Man, that, Smells Like Teen Spirit, Thank You (Led Zep) ... has she ever done a good cover?

Much as I love Kate Bush, her version of Rocket Man is even worse than the original.  Cod-reggae?  Really?
