also a.f.i got me into better hardcore bands in a major way.
i think i bought the shape of punk to come with what little money i had back in 01 or 02. this was also when i first heard black flag.

I saw them live about a month ago and they are still AMAZING. Best albums go: Art of drowning > Sing the sorrow > Black sails > Shut your mouth > Decemberunderground > Answer that > Very proud of ya > Crash love. IMO of course. But I feel that you're horribly wrong. Their later albums are (a lot more melodramatic) more interesting than their early Filth-esque parroting. All good albums. Even Crash love is listenable.
