I Like Hardcore Music. Do You Like Hardcore Music? - SAM, YOU MUST POST!
spoon_of_grimbo:
last i heard, they were in the process of recording a new full-length. i really liked the last one (but i haven't heard any of the splits/eps/etc.) so i'm looking forward to hearing this.
also, in other hardcore related news, i hear the new defeater is rather insanely good. if it's in stock at the shop, i'll pick it up today...

This is a full length released by a high school group from Boise, ID formed back in 2004 and disbanded in 2007 or so. It's pretty experimental grind/thrash/metal/rock. Definitely not to be taken too seriously.
Vuk:
Man, the new Beau Navire album is so fucking good...it could end up being one of my favourites this year. I just want to leave the rest of my listening for when I actually get the LP. BN are apparently recording another full-length already, and they have a split with Suffix coming out soon as well.
Also, stoked to get the We Were Skeletons/MIWA split. All these good bands putting out so much good material.
sean:
have you heard the songs off the suffix split? they're pretty good and the new beau navire is pretty good so im stoked on that.
but i think im more stoked on the we were skeletons split that they're doing with the saddest landscape, the wws track is pretty okay but mnwa (or whatever they call themselves) is kinda shitty.
Vuk:
Didn't know the Suffix stuff leaked, I'll have to check that out. I'm not a huge fan of The Saddest Landscape, but I guess I'll check that out too for the WWS song. And I think the band is callled Misha, but they spell it with Russian Cyrillic letters so the "sh" is a "w". Kind of silly, but what I heard from them wasn't that bad.
