I Like Hardcore Music. Do You Like Hardcore Music? - SAM, YOU MUST POST!
Vuk:
Yeah, I'm pretty pissed to be missing that, but I'll be out of the country by then. That's awesome since you get a nice and long set too, and people are gonna go crazy for Pg. 99.
Apparently other reunions are being announced for that fest though, so I'm excited to see what's announced.
Lummer:
Sean, do you like Pianos Become The Teeth? I'm playing a show with them in a few weeks. Should I look forward to this?
sean:
i saw them back in may '09 plus i have a bit of their shit on vinyl. they do the whole the whole post-rock+screamo/hardcore mix thing. i don't think they're the best thing since sliced bread but they're getting pretty goddamn popular for that type of music over here in the states and they put on a decent show back then, even if it was a lil loud since they hadn't even put out their full length yet so i couldn't tell what was really going on. they'll probably do a nice set though, if you wanna check out their stuff i'd say spin some tracks off their full length old pride (which is probably posted somewhere on this forum) or their recent split 9/7" with the saddest landscape. dont expect to have yr mind blown, and personally i'd be more stoked to see suis la lune, who i think they're touring with.
sean:
dudes check this shit out its yr new favorite band, these dudes are called shat shorts. they're from DC, they share members with monument, and they're noisy as fuck, get into this. ill tell you how awesome they are when inevitably see them this summer.
