Man the character is clearly the worst to have a crush on unless maybe you like getting murdered. Though I'd happily bone the guy who wrote those words.

My dream indie boy would first and foremost need to be a total intellectual. He would want to discuss the issues of the day, the arts, or just be able to maintain an engaging conversation regardless of subject matter. He wouldn't necessarily need to keep up with new music, but always able to supplement my own tastes with his own likings. He would be independent financially and emotionally, and would be a complement to my current life, rather than its center. He would want to help me when i gardened, and share a love for the dirt. He would have his own hobbies as well, that he could occupy himself in when I wanted to lose myself in tinkering with broken tractors. We would make a habit of doing the crossword together over smalltalk. We would routinely cook together, trying new things, or sometimes just bake brownies and enjoy a few drinks to some cheesy reruns of Law and Order or the like. He would always want to go to museums and shows, and want to talk specifics and stylings, but still be willing to make inappropriate jokes about haughty sculpture. He would have a subdued elegant style, not overly hip, but sharp looking. He often insists we dress to the nines for no particular reason, and head out on the town as if we were sophistiques from the Jazz Age with no particular place to go. But, he would equally love to go hiking and exploring always with a sense of wonder at each new discovery. He certainly would have faults, but would embrace them as himself. He would be the type of person I would catch just staring at me with a style, as if I was the only object in the entire world. He knew how to act in both quiet moments alone and in the middle of a party. Most of all, he would be totally adorable.
