Let's say positive things about our jobs!
Lines:
I get a wicked discount on art supplies, it's somewhat related to my degree, I like everyone who works here, I like a lot of the people who shop here regularly, the people who live down here are really interesting (read: kind of weird), and I usually have a good time. It's not very stressful, the pay is ok, I get vatation time (at some point), and there are options for health, dental, and vision. (They aren't great, but at least they're there.)
So yeah, I like my job. I don't want to stay here forever, but I'm content right now.
Zingoleb:
I really can't think of anything good about my job except that I get three-day weekends in the middle of the week.
redglasscurls:
It is on campus, so I can get in a couple hour shifts between classes and not have to go to work separate from the rest of my day!
A lot of the time I get to sit around and get paid to get my school work done!
When I do real work, it is hella physical, so my arms are BUFF!
I am one of the most experienced people there, so all my co-workers follow my lead. It's good to be in charge!
DonInKansas:
I work as a Dispatcher for County Fire/Police/EMS. I have been involved in saving multiple lives.
That's pretty damn cool.
Ladybug:
My (summer) job lets me sit around in scrubs all day, which is basically like wearing PJs to work. That part is pretty awesome. It is also absolutely not stressful at all, and I don't have to be super peppy and nice to people all day.
Student life is pretty great, unless it's November-December or April-May-start of June.
