Let's say positive things about our jobs!

At my job, I get to overhear bits of other people's conversations with customers, so we write down the best quotes. There's a lot of "No sir, I wasn't calling you stupid" and "no ma'am I can't overnight a credit card to Mongolia. Unless you pay for my flight, in which yes! I will see you soon" Also, I learned a lot of really helpful information about credit and banking so hopefully my credit in the future will be awesome (it is shit right now still)

Today I was praised for getting work done in a timely manner. I thought it was simply assumed that I would do my job and that I was merely meeting expectations but I think they were anticipating less effort from me. Now they think I am awesome! This job is really great.

Well, I actually didn't wear the labcoat unless I was doing something dangerous. Like phenol-chlorophorm extractions. Or you know, trying to look important.

This thread just put into perspective that my job sucks. :(
At least I get 5 bucks an hour. I might even get 40 hours a week in regularly this summer. That would be...800 dollars a month! This might be good.

God, yes ... reading about how awesome all your jobs are depresses me into the pits.
I'm a dead tree shuffler, for god's sake. A purveyor of information that no one will ever again give a toss about unless there is another huge environmental fuck up.
