Let's say positive things about our jobs!

<< < (13/42) > >>

David_Dovey:
Zingoleb is from the 1930s!

A Wet Helmet:
My first hourly wage paying job was $2.75 an hour.

Dazed:
And here I was, taking comfort in the fact that I could always retreat to Norway.

Now all my escape plans are ruined! RUINED!!!!

supersheep:
That's not a recession, that's a wee blip. When the unemployment rate has doubled in six months and will double again by Christmas (one in four, baby!) and people start emigrating, then you've got a recession. The recession is the only thing that Ireland are world champions at.

The best thing about my future job is that the hours are very good and there's a lot of freedom. The bad thing is that it's the dole.

Metope:
Yeah agreed, the economy has it's ups and downs, and right now it's pretty far down, but if you compare Norway to most countries we are not even close to mentioning the word recession. Economy magazines and such have declared Norway the best country to be in during a recession because we will hardly notice anything.

Too bad about your teacher's husband's job though.
