So guys, you know how I'm on Albanian TV and shit?

Gurkburk:
Albanian semi-growling nu metal by Hugh Hun. Awesome.

So you may or may not be aware that Albania is an impoverished and troubled nation, one lesser-known tragic side effect of which being that they agreed to sell the letter 'C' to the U.S.S.R. way back in the day and lease it back and a favorable rate. However, when the union fell, Kazakhstan curiously kept the rights to the Albanian use of the letter 'C', and since they have no interest in leasing it cheap in exchange for political agreeability, Albania has been unable to afford its use for some years now.

Ballard:
A high-ranking Kazakh official, mysteriously AWOL as of three days ago, was last spotted attempting to unload the letter on a group of Nigerian guerrilla warriors in exchange for several hundred decommissioned nuclear warheads.

I'm fluent in Russian and semi-fluent in Italian and this sounds about right.

Patrick:
Albanian is actually 100% different from any other language on the planet. It borrows a few words from Turkish, but never forgets to cite sources.

Also thanks for the voice compliments! I am glad somebody thinks so. I was less than completely satisfied with both performances (see night [nata] 2 for the first one), heh.

For those who have asked, the judges were just saying that they were pretty pleased with my singing. People were impressed that I am actually capable of showing something resembling a pulse onstage (I have a bad habit of hiding that shit during the rest of the week) and the judges SHIT themselves over my Albanian pronunciation. They said that my Albanian was better than Labinot's, but they also said his English was better than mine (THEY WOULD NOT KNOW). I was pleased, but too nervous to show it!

redglasscurls:
I actually kind of agree! Not that you guys know the opposite languages better than each other, but that you sounded better than him on the Albanian song and he sounded better on the English one
