If I had to pick one new 2009 album to listen to this summer, it'd be Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix.  Shortly followed by my surfer tunes of Julie Ocean.

Right now, that 2009 album for me is John Vanderslice's "Romanian Names".

Ooh, really? It's good? 'Cause usually I'm down with Vanderslice but I was really disappointed by his last one.

Anyway, it's coming up to winter here which means the new Great Lake Swimmers album has come out just in time.
