I never bothered to look at pictures of John Darnielle ( / Mountain Goats) until I saw him live, and it kind of broke my mind for a while.

I agree on Iron & Wine, he looks really unexpected to me for some reason.  And I never bothered to see what Jason Lytle looked like until he was mentioned in this thread but, - wow.  What?
