i saw pictures of cursive long before i heard them. kinda expected kasher to have a pretty deep voice, not sure why. and much less whiny than he is.

I think what fascinates me more about her is the fact that her voice isn't the product of a good studio take. I've seen two Decemberists' television appearances (both times singing Repaid), and she fucking nailed every note with the same amount of power as on the album. Maybe the voice itself is kind of believable, but I did not expect the cannon.
