So I was watching a documentary on TV yesterday - it was about two men who bought a lion cub back in the 60s and reared it themselves. It was undoubtedly the cutest pet. It would jump up and hug them, nuzzling their face. It was like a giant, more expressive kitten.

And after they had it rehabilitated and released into the wild (it was getting huge), they went back to visit a year later. They were told it wouldn't remember them. But look at the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVNTdWbVBgc
