Distributed denial of service is only when you're trying to take it down. We're not trying to take the site down, nor are we succeeding.

For that matter, it's not considered a DDoS when it is successful, as long as there was no intent. Think Slashdot effect.

I feel a little guilty that someone is staying up past 3 in the morning to do something for free that's just entertainment to me.

I'd feel more guilty except that Jeph said in the Ask Jeph thread that QC is something that he needs to do.

What if Marten isn't really over his feelings toward Faye?

He said he was OK with the Sven hookup, but isn't Marten exactly the sort who wouldn't admit it to himself if he were jealous?
