Plants vs. Zombies
« on: 08 May 2009, 13:22 »

This is an awesome game. I bought it last night and played it for about 2 hours. If you have $20 to spare and are looking for a fun puzzle-ish/humour/tower defense/time-wasting game, buy it! (Or at least download the demo. It is tons of fun.)

Here's a great Wired Magazine review.

Oh yeah, I noticed that too. Monsters vs. Aliens, Stalin vs. Martians, and now Plants vs. Zombies... I sense a trend. Oh well, if you say it's good I'll try the demo. :D

I just got the image of a midwife and a woman giving birth swinging towards each other on a trapeze - when they meet, the midwife pulls the baby out. The knife juggler is standing on the floor and cuts the umbilical cord with a a knifethrow.

I beat the main game last night and started working on some of the mini-games/puzzles/etc. It continues to be challenging and highly, highly amusing.

My trial ran out, but it's worth the free download to anyone who hasn't tried it.

I've now beaten the main game twice, and all the minigames and puzzles. It is definitely addictive.
