Michael Bay Leaves 'Transformers' Franchise

I sound entirely judgmental. I'm over it. I'm just bitter that no one even cares anymore about seeing actors with talent, or roles with depth. I wish more actors would actually work hard at characters.

Alex C:
People do care. Transformers is a vapid summer blockbuster but otherwise we've had a rather a nice run of movies in the last few years. It's perhaps a bit disconcerting that things like Kung Fu Panda can push more tickets than Wall-E or Up! but it's not really something worth getting upset about.

David_Dovey:
Newsflash: People have always liked shitty shit, rose-coloured glasses etc.

This is utterly and completely untrue.

De_El:
Really the most egregious thing about the article linked on this page is the fact that it refers to Michael Bay as an "auteur."
