zilch365:
Ok, I thoroughly enjoyed this new strip. Faye is priceless. Poor Wil, it's like shooting fish in a barrel.

Is it cold in here?:
Was this the first time we saw the supportive side of Pennelope?

Delirium:

Guy's had no job for six years and his hot blonde girlfriend takes him in and gives him booty work-fare.

GUYS CAN"T LOSE IN QC!!!!  WHOOO!!!

Well, except for Sven; but he's a dick.  WHOO!!!! NERDY GUYS CAN'T LOSE!!! WHOOO!!!

If you're cute enough, girls will melt enough at the loins to be distracted from how much of a loser person of unrealized potential you are.

Also, Hanners reads a shitton of shit on the internet, I find it inconcievable for her to not know that manga and anime are already plural. You get that stuff through osmosis. I wish that Marigold would at least correct her.

snubnose:
Manga isnt plural, obviously. :-P

I dont like Faye much in todays comic, to be honest. Come on, she's plain sadistic. Over a guy who didnt followed the usual testosterone stereotype. I always thought girls WANT that.

And I seriously hope too Penpen and Wil wont just vanish from the comic, yes.

pwhodges:

--- Quote from: Shok Xone Studios on 08 Jul 2009, 13:48 ---It's a vicious cycle. You can't gain experience, because no one will hire you, because you lack experience. FUCKBALLS to it all.

The computer industry used to have (may still for all I know) a habit of requiring two years experience in software that hadn't even been released yet...

And the rest of this discussion has got rather bogged down in the notion that having a regular paid job and living away from home is the only way to be respectable.  I've already mentioned my friend who is nearing retirement age and still living at home with his mum; and my son didn't get a job until he was 35, because he had spent the previous 12 years doing the starving artist bit as a pianist (and incidentally managing to build up an international reputation, which is why he was invited to take up the job).  We don't yet know enough about Wil to write him off so completely.
