Eh, I was mostly being sarcastic - what I hoped would be evidenced by all that blathering bullshit about genitals - but really, don't take it personally.

What tends to happen around here a lot: Someone posts a thread about a topic that many of us consider either pointless or redundant. Some of the regulars then decide to shit all over the original poster, while some of us oldsters just try to run with the most ludicrous nonsense we can in order to derail the thread into something we may be amused by.

Seriously, the whole "they'll ban me for saying I don't like indie rock" argument is absurd. Well over half the regulars here aren't fans at all. I think most of the bands that get jocked on this board are unlistenable rubbish, and I've said as much openly. Nonetheless, a lot of these guys are some of my best friends on the internet.

Jeph, the dude who created the comic and subsequent forum that accompanies it, is a fan of indie rock. It gets talked about a lot. This community has existed for a long time, and if a penny were to be deposited into an account for Jeph, one for everytime the subject of indi rock were discussed since this forum started, he could afford to give away his merch for free and still be independently wealthy. No offense to you personally, we're just tired of the same old thing.

It's not that no one cares about your opinions so much as you act as though we're all really sensitive and defensive about indie rock, and since you've been here since January I can't really fathom how it is you think this. Also it is not really a good idea for a thread.
