The epilogue to the first story got me on-board properlike. That there was obviously tentative FEELINS between Shauna and Jack was cool, but the whole Girls vs Boys solvin' problems angle was really unexpected and welcome, because the two of them meddling in the supernatural goings-on of the town and dragging their friends along with them almost makes up for the departure of Shelley's maniacally cheerful meddling, bringing the town back into balance.

To be fair, that angle had been mentioned in the last SGR story and mentioned several times over the course of that first BM story
