Cat Shit One - the Rabbits go to War
« on: 28 Aug 2009, 02:48 »

Thats one animated series i am definitly going to watch. I loved the comics back then when the Rabbits went to Vietnam.

Now... this is Watership Down vs. Jarhead & Rambo. Definitly nothing for the kids ^^.

Why. Do. I. Like. This. So. Much...?

It's just....

It looks so fucking awesome - and I have no idea why I feel that way.

I could not for the life of me figure out what the enemy soldiers were. Youtube comments suggest they're camels which I guess they must be. Still, if you're going to have an animated movie/show staring animals, just make the animals instantly recognizable!

Between this and Avatar, furries are gonna have a really great year in media.
It looks pretty great, I hope that it doesn't get butchered if there's a localised western version.

Kinda geared towards the west anyway, with the whole iraq thing.

Yep, it is geared towards the west. In the US this comic is sold since 2000. The original plays in Vietnam, the comic is translated and renamed to "Apocalypse Meow".

So, this is a series about soldiers going to war in the middle east, only instead of Americans vs Arabs they're Rabbits vs Camels? How revolutionary.
