soundtrack to your life

a few days ago a friend of mine was telling me about how last christmas he and his coworkers were all really broke and couldn't afford gifts.  so instead they all made a mix that was a 'soundtrack to their life', and burned a copy for everyone.  that way for christmas everyone got a bunch of new music, as well as a memento of the people they cared about.

my friends and i thought that was such a neat idea that we decided to also make our own and pass them around to each other.  so then i thought... hey maybe my internet friends might want to get on it too?

the reason i am posting this here instead of the music forum is because this isn't really about making a "good" mix with the "best" music.  have fun with it!  i think it will be really cute for us to all learn a bit more about each other through songs instead of conventional blogging and text.

man the reason i did it that way is so that you could 'discover' what songs i'd chosen for each thing.
