Capcom's making another Okami
Storm Rider:
No, for serious. According to early leaks from this month's Famitsu issue, it's called Okamiden and it's being made for the DS, scheduled for Japanese release sometime next year. Obviously Clover is no more, but there's no indication if any of the original creators over at Platinum are involved with the development. I can't imagine that split going well, and Kamiya was busy with Bayonetta until just recently, so it seems unlikely.
Still, Capcom apparently is willing to give it a second chance even after it was a miserable commerical failure, so that's interesting at the very least.
Alex C:
I don't really understand how Okami didn't do well. Even my li'l sister loved Okami, and she hates video games.
Storm Rider:
Also it's worth mentioning, even though it's pretty unlikely anybody involved in the first game is working on this one, Capcom definitely has experience making this kind of game on handhelds. Hell, they made several of the handheld Zelda games for Nintendo before they started making them on their own again with Phantom Hourglass. Never played Minish Cap, but Oracle of Seasons/Ages was pretty great.
0bsessions:
Minish Cap was the best handheld Zelda ever (Link to the Past remake excepted). I'm stating it now.
Ozymandias:
Minish Cap is the worst Zelda-like Zelda (hence, excepting the CD-i ones and Link's Adventure). However, OoS/A are really good, so whatever. I'm excited for more Okami.
