And if it is, what the hell is wrong with Gnarls or Outkast? Those are legitimately creative and quality acts!

My commentary on the last round is thinking that Nina Nastasia, Beulah and several others recieved few votes while people still think that Sigur Ros are not the most boring band and Animal Collective have anything to offer.

Honestly I'm surprised about the lack of JT, (I don't like him but everyone else here basically lost their shit over Futuresex/Lovesounds when it came out which proves we are a petty, petty lot) but apart from that maybe Outkast deserved a gong and I woulda given that for Speakerboxx/Love Below over Stankonia anyway. Gnarls Barkley write great pop music but it is pretty forgettable (I haven't spun either of their albums a month past buying it)
