It might be "right" in the literal sense but on replay you could see he didn't interfere directly and with intent to slow down the runner- it was wrong place, wrong time. But that won't change the outcome anymore and the win last night put that to rest for the time being...but it's not the only play this fall that has been the subject of debate about the usage.

The game isn't the problem when it comes to time, it's the commercial breaks the league and the networks insist on forcing into the games.

It also doesn't help that there are more in-game delays than ever before (stepping out of the box, stepping off the mound, throws over to first, etc.).
