A very sad story from the world of International football today as German Goalkeeper Robert Enke died:

The reports say he was hit by a train and suspicion is that he committed suicide after the death of his daughter from a rare heart condition in 2006 when she was 2 years old.

He had recently been confirmed as the number 1 Goalkeeper for the German national side and would in all likelihood have been the Goalkeeper at the World Cup Finals in South Africa.

Update: It has been confirmed as a suicide
