The Seldom Killer:
Its the start of the Spring Classics today with the epic Milan-San Remo.

can't decide on a favourite for the win. Split by wanting either a Cavendish sprint finish, Swift confirming his puncheur credentials or Stybarmaking a cheeky move. I suspect the latter will be well marked though. No escapees today I reckon.

The Seldom Killer:
Woooo Geraint Thomas wins the E3 Harelbeke in a solo move. Great to see him moving off the domestique rosta.

jwhouk:
100 points, four points from clinching a playoff berth, and still sitting pretty atop the Division.

I think this is the latest Nashville has been #1 in their division since 1998.

explicit:
The moment I decided to think the Bruins were playing good hockey was the second they decided to say, "NOPE". 6 strait losses, technically tied with Ottawa for the 8th seed, but have played one more game than them....

Krejci's back, but Hamilton is out, the guys they traded for at the deadline are out... Unless Rask just plays out of his mind for the last few games I just don't see it.

The Seldom Killer:
I was looking forward tomorrow to give a first quarter update on the progress of Steve Abraham's attempt to break the year cycling record. If things had been going according to plan he would have covered over 17000 miles. Alas it looks as if Steve's efforts have been cut short. Yesterday he was involved in a collision with a moped and ended up with two broken bones in his ankle. The latest is that he now needs to have surgery to implant a plate and screws.

There's no professional aspect to this kind of sporting effort so Steve doesn't have the back up of a contract, sick pay, employment insurance etc. Unless by some miracle he can get back on his bike and carry on riding, it looks like he's unemployed. Fortunately for him, it looks like the cycling community is rallying around and committing to supporting him at least until he's recovered and looking for work again.
