USA also came agonisingly close to beating Brazil. They were two goals up at half-time and it suddenly crumbled in the second half.
However, if England have anything like their first team out then I expect to be celebrating three points on my birthday.

Oh well. I suppose it's what happens when you're becoming a great soccer nation, though. You're gonna have those tough losses in big games.

I actually loved that game, as I had money on USA being up at half time and Brazil coming back to win. I can't imagine it would have been as enjoyable as an American.

I'd imagine it's just about how Bayern fans felt during the 99 Champions League final.
On the other hand, I loved that game.
