The fact that Canada won almost makes up for the fact that my team lost our match on the same day.

I mean, it wasn't on the same scale, but still. It mattered.

I liked the Rocky-ish moment of getting Canada getting their asses kicked by the US in the first matchup only to turn around meet them at the final game and win in OT

I keep trying to feel happy for Canada after they once again almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory but then I remember that Sidney fucking Crosby scored the winner and I realise that I will always see the victory as tainted all over again.
