"Gold Farmer" makes me think of one of three things: she's an ex-prostitute, an ex-"professional" wife, or she comes from San Fransisco Alaska Vegas somewhere they extract gold. None of which seems likely.

I had thought maybe it was some sort of WoW reference. We used to call players who logged on, went to a certain area and killed the Mob there until they had enough money for a week's rent "rent farmers."

It is a WoW reference.

Great, he just has to flash his anti-sex shield. The last thing a nerd girl wants for a boyfriend is another nerd. Even the dungeonmaster's girlfriend is never someone who played RPGs before she hooked up with him.

The QC universe has different rules from ours, so it may not be possible to extrapolate from our experiences.

QC has characters with nerdish traits, but Marigeek is the only out-and-out nerd of the bunch.

We do have a former D&D player dating someone who reads Neal Stephenson, and a compulsive reader dating a socially inept poet, but that's as close as the QC universe has come to nerd-on-nerd action.

Of course we can extrapolate. From Asimo to Pintsize, from space tourists to Hannerdad, from nerd dating to (at least) nerd banging.

Err, Gold Farming is nothing WoW specific.

Its a general problem in all MMOs from day 1 on.

Regardless of how many times the word "fallacy" is used, all I have gathered from this is that we are almost all nerds here, myself included.

EDIT: When you glance at the word "fallacious", it looks like "fellatio".

Hehehe.

Sounds like a variation of the No True Scotsman argument.  No dice.  My wife was a nerd and I am one too.
lol , nice fallacy fallacy
Cute.  You can't use that as a universal escape hatch from having a fallacious argument pointed out.  Or rather you can, but nobody will buy it.
nice fallacy fallacy fallacy
Regardless of how many times the word "fallacy" is used, all I have gathered from this is that we are almost all nerds here, myself included.

EDIT: When you glance at the word "fallacious", it looks like "fellatio".

Hehehe.
and it sounds like phallus
Haha, nice.
Lets have some quote tunnels in this biznitch
oh yeah good idea
Quote tunnel? What's that? Someone wanna give me an example?
^^^ that is a quote tunnel
Hmm, still not sure I get it. Moar demonstration!!
You seriously don't get what a quote tunnel is?

Should probably point out that physics is the easiest of the natural science majors.  In the words of Someone Overheard on the Bus, it's "applied common sense."  If you have a basic grasp of mathematics, at least first-year physics will come easily, and the rest won't be especially hard if you've got even Raven's level of intelligence.  (Overprivileged Midwestern transfers, fuck off; you will fail.)
