Thanks guys, these have been really great. 

I'll clarify what I mean by "stupid" humor.  I'll point at just about everything that Ben Stiller does.  I'll also point out that I'm not a fan of gross-out humor.  I understand why people find it funny but as a viewer I always feel that if they resort to gross-out humor they're insulting my intelligence.  Some of the comedies that I really, really enjoy are: City Slickers, Groundhog Day, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  I'm more of a fan of written humor as opposed to slapstick and gross-out.
