It is somewhat strange since I always thought they're rather accessible, relatively speaking. I mean, it's got a beat and you can stomp to it. Then again, I have no idea what it is that makes some groups better than others when it comes to this kind of music. Kahle Bedrohung is in my playlist right now but I couldn't really tell you why I like that track so much. I probably like Feindflug because if there's anything that's likely to turn me off from such outfits it's likely to be an overabundance of lyrics.

I think the thing about the genre is that there's no real middle ground.  It's either really good or laughingly awful....lyrics-wise especially.  But to move the point further, I have no idea why people don't like some of the bands that I think are impossible not to enjoy.
