Light/Comedy films

So I was looking through my PS3's collection of movies and I realized something that really irks me.  I have a big collection of horror, classics, and action films.  I have this really wide and pretty satisfying collection of movies with one noteable exception.  I have almost no funny or light films.  So I need some recommendations.  Things that are light and enjoyable, "popcorn flicks", and comedies. Be warned about comedies though, I can't stand stupid comedy and don't like any comedians.  So if you can throw some suggestions my way that would be absolutely awesome.  Thanks guys

Real Genius.  It's a classic 80's nerd movie.  It's a little stupid, but it's got some really witty stuff in there.  Also:

Little Miss Sunshine (of of the funniest movies I've ever seen)
Blues Brothers (classic)
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (prefer this to Snatch, personally)
Big Trouble (based on a Dave Barry novel, and that's all you need to know)

Some Like It Hot: definitely rewards repeat viewings, since that's the best way to appreciate just how perfectly constructed and performed it is.
Dr Strangelove: Slim Pickens riding a bomb and Sterling Hayden telling you all about how he needs to safeguard his bodily fluids from Communism.
Black Cat, White Cat: proves that romantic comedies can be great when they involve more coked-up Roma mob bosses and general absurdity and less Hugh Grant.
The Naked Gun 2½: The Smell of Fear: it's pretty much essential.

Young Frankenstein is brilliant, but Men In Tights over Blazing Saddles? Really?

And how the fuck did I forget Kind Hearts And Coronets, the best film Alec Guinness ever made. "I shot an arrow in the air... She fell to earth in Berkeley Square."

Thanks guys, these have been really great. 

I'll clarify what I mean by "stupid" humor.  I'll point at just about everything that Ben Stiller does.  I'll also point out that I'm not a fan of gross-out humor.  I understand why people find it funny but as a viewer I always feel that if they resort to gross-out humor they're insulting my intelligence.  Some of the comedies that I really, really enjoy are: City Slickers, Groundhog Day, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit.  I'm more of a fan of written humor as opposed to slapstick and gross-out.

The Hudsucker Proxy (Coen brothers at their lightest)
Young Frankenstein (seconded - I'm not so much a fan of the other Mel Brook's films, but this one shoots right up to the top)

A second recommendation for Dr. Strangelove. A hands down brilliant movie and quite possibly one of the best comedies I've ever seen.
