favorite iphone apps?

Ok guys, I am onboard the iPhone train.  Hannah updated her plan today and got herself an iPhone, which means that the one I got a couple months ago has now come back to me.  We did this because the HD2 fell flat for a number of reasons, not the least of which the fact that occasionally smses will just not send.  Pretty great!

I've gone through this thread and have already found a bunch of cool apps, thanks!  Here's a couple I like:

TripView/TripViewLite: If you live in Sydney and take public transport then this is a great app.  It gives you easy to read, up-to-date timetables for Sydney trains, buses and ferries.  I am probably going to buy the paid version soon because you can't save trips/routes on the free version, and because the dude deserves the money.

Defender Chronicles: Basically this is a tower defense game, but side-view instead of top-down.  It makes good use of pinch to zoom, the graphics are good, and there is a free version with a decent amount of playtime to see if you like it or not (I'm still playing the free version, can't say much about the paid version)

Pocket Tanks: This is just an artillery game, but I've always been a sucker for these games and at the moment even the free version has enough different kinds of weapons to keep it interesting.

Professor Snuggles:
Guys! Everyone who has an iPhone!

Get words with friends!

Lets fuck up some scrabble ish!

ViolentDove:
Yeah that is one of my favourite games on the iPhone. Stone-cold awesome.

Holy shit Joe, I started playing GalCon earlier this afternoon.  It's like they've taken the hours-long Space Civ type game and condensed it into a deliciously simple 30 sec - couple minute game while retaining much of the core strategic elements, just chucking out all the minutiae.  They could make an alternate game-type where you could upgrade the planets somehow for when you had more time to play with, but other than that it's already really really cool.

jhocking:
fuck yeah

Did you ever play the original Master of Orion? Not the overcomplicated sequels, but the awesome original? GalCon with MoO-style upgrades and races would be fucking amazing.
