Iron Oxide I was joking.

Harun:
new Photoshop app is pretty sweet (and free?!). you can crop&rotate, change hue/saturation et al

Emaline:
Fuck the iphone. The Android is where its at.

jmrz:
Emaline - this isn't the thread to be bashing the iPhone. If you want to do that, go somewhere else. Your post is not constructive.

Everything Tommy mentioned is really great - the facebook app especially. It recently got a huge update making it incredibly easy to use and actually enjoyable to use. The Skype and AIM apps are also pretty great. Shazam is really handy and I've used it a bunch of times to figure out what song is playing on the radio or whatever and every time it has been super accurate.

If you're into puzzle games or whatever TanZen Lite is free - it's one of those puzzle deals where you have to fit the tiles into a weird shape until it's all filled. Bejeweled 2 is also pretty fun, but I think you have to pay for that one.

If you're after some kind of notes app - I wouldn't go past Evernote. You can grab Evernote for mac and PC and anything you put into Evernote on the web, your mac/pc or your iPhone, will sync up. It's really useful for keeping your school notes or grocery list or whatever with you at all times.

For twitter, if you are a twitter person, I use Twitterifc.

For IRC - I use Rooms - also not free but it's the best one I found.

That's really it, to be honest, I don't have a lot of apps on my iPhone at all.

Uhm, I am pretty sure Emaline's post was a joke?

Also, I want an iphone, because I have a phone, and an ipod, and combining the two into one would be pretty handy. But I also just like shiny new things, so who knows what I will get when my contract runs out. I have heard bad things about iphones not getting calls or dropping out on the Optus network (which is what I use), so I am unsure.
