Games Worth Replaying

BeoPuppy:
It must be influence from the book. After all, those are total testosterone fueled kill fests without any sort of plot, intrigue or political thought in there.

Fav. strategy: building concrete slabs all the way to the enemy's base. Then killing them all with turrets and taking over their buildings.

LTK:
I just realised that I would really like to replay Painkiller after these awful sequels. I remembered how much mindless fun I had killing all those demons with weapons from a tortured fantasy. Only problem is, I sold my disc, thinking I wasn't going to replay it anyway.

Spluff:
In a similar vein to painkiller, Serious Sam is an excellent game for replaying.

I'd played Dune II about a dozen times looooong before I ever read the book.

I think there was only one map where you could do that - but yeah, it was awesome. As was building a wall of turrets surrounding your base, which was expensive but not prohibitively so - especially if you were playing as Ordos and you used your gas tanks to brainwash the enemy harvesters!

BeoPuppy:
Maybe, but if you have a mobile construction vehicle ...

I cursed those Ordos gastanks 'till I was blue in the face. Hateful, spiteful fuckers costing me way too many harvesters. Good reason to buy them by the dozen from the spaceguild.

I think I might re-install the game today. Just for kicks.
