1001 albums to listen to before you die
Koremora:
This is true. I try to listen to music that's pretty different from what I'm going to see when I'm on the way there. But really, "Ladies and Gentlemen" was almost as good as Lindstrom's "Where You Go I Go Too" for making a long car ride seem like an epic journey.
AanAllein:
I haven't been really impressed by "Ladies and Gentlemen We Are Floating In Space" either, especially given it's hugely positive reputation - but I can see it's the kind of album you need to be in the right context to truly appreciate. Should listen to it again sometime...
E. Spaceman:
Hopefully you won't be listening to it in its proper context anytime soon.
(it is heartbroken as all fuck
AanAllein:
That kinda makes sense. I will put on my to do list for "when everything is all fucked up."

Yeah, I don't think anyone on this forum likes long songs.

Jesus Christ, man. My favourite artists are Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd and Nick Cave. I love long songs. I also love them to go somewhere.
Is anyone actually going to say why they like this album, or are you just going to keep jangling each others balls, nudging and winking and wondering why I'm so stupid as not to like it?
