Is it cold in here?:
None of the women I've known who handled boy situations normally ever called me "assbutt".
We can certainly cheer Faye's progress but "normally" doesn't apply yet.

Of course, at the rate QC time flows*, Jeph will have to have had his consciousness transferred into an android body to draw this, and we will have to do likewise to see it (which is, incidentally, an answer to his post on another thread, the thread that I dare not name, or perhaps simply don't feel like naming). Other than that, though, I concur. You did forget the people who will claim that if Faye had just done the right thing, Sven wouldn't have died of that new strain of syphilis, though.

Nice to see someone who knows his limits.
As for dearest Faye, I'm not sure giving Penelope whiplash makes this a completely successful effort at normalcy. But it's nice to see someone feeling they're making progress.

also, what IS Angus's usual? he doesn't like coffee. so is it tea? hot chocolate?

It's only run around if she doesn't mean it. And, given her reaction afterward, I'm pretty sure she meant it. She wasn't being dishonest or disingenuous.

thats actually the same prices as the coffee shops where I am.
