And while the reason for her injury may bode well for Cossette to be at least option 2, I'm not sure if physical obsession is a firm basis on which to build a lasting relationship.  But at least we can be entertained.

Because reality is that physical changes happen and reality is different from fantasy.  Lasting relationships need something else besides pure physical lust.
