Really digging this. Not big on the homophobia but love the line about Bruno Mars. Fuck that guy. The minimalist/noisey beat is sweet too. Reminds me a bit of Tom Waits.

i don't think he was being overly homophobic there. i mean, he was talking about dancing around the house to Adventure Time while wearing pink pajamas or something, so it's more of a humorous "i'm not gay! really!" than a serious "i'm not gay because that shit is WRONG" type thing, because obviously he doesn't care. also, the following line about his mom never understanding him makes it seem like she would probably interpret that as gay, even though it's not. does that make sense?

i was definitely a little put off by that part at first too but once i figured out the rest of the lines around it and got some context, i didn't really care anymore


question: does anyone know if that flow is from a freestyle or something? it definitely feels like a freestyle but it could just as easily not be
