up until tunnel of love, springsteen's records are immaculate; his albums after that (except the rising, devils & dust and arguably the ghost of tom joad) have been middling.

Johnny fuck yes.

I was literally not joking or overstating when I said what I said about Born in the USA. There is not a weak track on the fucking thing and I guess I could understand why you wouldn't like the production but the songwriting is immaculate and easily the equal of anything else he's done.
